The subject matter for this design was inspired by a class several of my friends had taken at Texas A&M — a civil rights seminar. Throughout the beginning of the spring semester, students learn about the people, places, events, and correspondence of the American Civil Rights Movement, and during spring break they participate in a field trip where they take a bus ride through the South to visit the landmarks.
The assignment was to create an advertisement for a travel agency, so I decided to create an advertisement for a fictional agency that organizes tours such as the one described above.
